Many families have asked if I charge for my services, and the answer is no. I do not charge a fee for private inspections or awareness classes presented to non-profit groups.

I do charge a nominal fee for seminars presented to businesses and other organizations that can benefit financially from the information I provide.

If an individual or group wants to offset the financial cost involved with being a volunteer Child Passenger Safety Technician, there are several ways to do that.

I do not hold a non-profit status, so any donations would be legally considered personal gifts with no expection of goods or services provided in return.

I am currently involved in the planning stages of setting up a permanent fitting station in Chesterfield, Virginia. If you can help in any way, please let me know via the "Contact Us" form or voicemail message at 804-306-0316.

Gifts/donations are NOT tax-deductible.

Donations can be cash or supplies, I have no preference as to either. Should your organization wish to provide supplies, here is a short list of items I need:
  • Pool noodles, 3+" in diameter
  • Pool noodles, 2" in diameter
  • Duct tape
  • Non-slip liner
  • Orange traffic cones (4-6)
  • Sturdy but lightweight digital scale
  • Printed materials/ photocopies
  • Child restraints for low-income families
  • Professional conference travel

I do operate a small business to offset the costs associated with being a volunteer.
